BlogHer on an Awards roll
This is a total brag post. Feel free to move along, nothing to see here, if that offends you!
BlogHer is on a roll when it comes to getting outside recognition and validation of what we're up to. Let's be clear that 99% of the time we're paying attention to what our customers say...sponsors, advertisers and most vocally and actively: bloggers. But every now and then it feels pretty good when you get a little love from folks who are not so closely intertwined with your every day business.
Like when we came in at #12 in the Fast Company Fast 50 Readers' Favorites.
Like when we were honored to win the 2008 Anita Borg Institute Social Impact Award.
And now, when we are a finalist for the 2008 Stevie Award for Web Site of the Year.
So, we got that going for us...which is nice.

As well you should be on an awards roll. As I've told you before, I'm not aware of an organization that has done more right than BlogHer has -- in developing a truly empowering culture around which a community thrives. Way to go!
